Dolphins sign WR Odell Beckham Jr. to a one-year deal worth $8.25 million

Beckham’s five-year run with Big Blue, who earned each of his three Pro Bowls in his first three NFL seasons with the New York Giants, ended in a trade to the Browns prior to the 2019 season. He produced his last 1,000-yard season in 2019 for Cleveland, but his request to release in 2021 was accepted and the Rams signed him.

With LA, Beckham’s star shined once again, most notably with a touchdown catch in a Super Bowl win and a thrilling first half. However, in the same Super Bowl, he tore his ACL. Despite several free agent visits, he was forced to miss the entire 2022 season.

Beckham returned to action last year after receiving an $18 million per season contract with the Ravens. He missed some action in 2023 with an ankle injury and finished his year in Baltimore with 35 receptions (fourth on the team) for 565 yards (second on the team) and three touchdowns. Beckham pulled off some highlight-reel catches, as he often did last fall, but also had some drops on easy balls. He showed off some more bangs under his belt. Consistency wasn’t always there, as he had eight games with two or fewer catches during the regular season. In the Ravens’ two postseason games, he had just four grabs for 34 yards.

No. 1 on Greg Rosenthal’s Top 101 list. 77 free agent, and the biggest remaining star in free agency, is leaving the team for Miami.
