Winners usually choose the cash prize over the annuity option, which is paid out in 29 annual payments as a one-time payment.
The next rally will be held on Wednesday night. Drawings will be held every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday.
The first winning Powerball lottery numbers of the year drew a jackpot of $842.4M.
The jackpot was last won on January 1 when a player in Michigan won the $842.4 million jackpot. That is the tenth most Powerball prize ever won.

Powerball is played in 45 states, Washington, DC, Puerto Rico and the US Virgin Islands. The game says more than half of its revenue from ticket sales is in the jurisdiction where they were sold.
