Britney Spears fans may not be performing with Elton John at Made in Glastonbury

Elton John Sunday’s headliner, and throughout his set … there was a lot of chatter online that Britney would, perhaps, come out and perform as a special guest with him. The song everyone thought they’d be duet on was their 2022 collaboration ‘Hold Me Closer’.

However, as the show went on, it became clear to everyone … BS was not going to show. Then it became more clear Brandon Flowers Trot for ‘Tiny Dancer’.

The reactions It was so funny — the people on the bird app (jokingly?) Ayudhamendi BF tapped instead of Britney…and all the anticipation was for naught.

It’s not clear why they thought she’d come to Glastonbury in the first place … there’s been no concrete reports that it’s going to happen.

As for Britney, she just got back from a vacation in Mexico — and has been busy posting her usual random content. I.G On Sunday, there was no real sign of her grabbing the mic or performing in front of thousands of people out of nowhere.

Anyone paying attention knows it’s not going to slow down…maybe even forever. As we’ve reported (repeatedly) — Britney has No real interest Stepping back into the spotlight … she’s gearing up for yet another record.

In other words, fans hoping to see her live and in the flesh again are going to be disappointed. Britney doesn’t really go out in public anymore.

Another sign that this Britney Pipe dream isn’t going to pan out at Glastonbury — she’s barely audible to begin with on ‘Hold Me Closer’…her voice is muffled and practically unintelligible. Yes, it was nice to see her jump back into music … but it was far from the form everyone expected. It is not yet fulfilled.
